There are many foods, drinks and therapies that can reduce inflammation, helping with bacterial infections.  They may not be a cure, but it is one way that we might be able to help ourselves.  Look at the next few pages, if you have anything that helps you or even makes things worse drop me a line.  Fistulizingcrohns@gmail.com

I can't stress the anti-inflammatory diet enough, Limit refined carbohydrates like white bread, pastries, and sugary cereals; avoid processed foods such as chips, crackers, and snack bars; reduce consumption of sugary drinks like soda, fruit juices, and energy drinks; limit red and processed meats like hot dogs, sausages, and bacon; and avoid trans fats found in margarine, shortening, and many processed foods.  I cannot stress enough how important it is to get on a healthy diet, do as much research as you can, and to stay on top of everything in your chart.  as Paranoid as I sound. if your doctors are doing surgery week after week and you are calling and calling because you are getting sicker and sicker,  Go some place else.

This bout started 1/27/18 and I allowed my surgeon to do 62 procedures and surgeries from that time until my last surgery which she took the Laterals vastus muscle from my thigh, that is the middle quad muscle, I was cut from my knee to my groin and they tried to tuck that muscle in to repair all the damage that they caused doing all the surgeries from not allowing the abscesses to be cleared up.  I made so many mistakes trusting my medical team.  The abscess is now presacral and In November of 24 I was in a wheelchair because the presacral abscess that the medical resident of my surgeon who reassured me 2/7/22 that they got the entire abscess and that I would never have another one again, so I could have the gracilis surgery in June where they took the side thigh muscle and that failed as well, then decemver they did the big front quad muscle, that failed as well,  in my records the GYNO wrote that they inadvertently entered my vagina creating a defect and had great difficulity repairing that defect but my surgeon was able to stitch it up from the top,  I was bleeding badly to the point where the nurses I later found in my chart were taking pictures of the blood soaked chuck pads to show them how much I was bleeding and leaving trails of blood but none of them wanting to tell me that they made a mistake.  Their pride allowed me to suffer for several years, my surgeon went as far to say that she believed that the abscess despite the Radiologist saying that it was rim enhancing suggesting that it was infected that it was just sterile and that I should start biologics again AFTER she had already said Nope, Nope, I'm done there is nothing more that I can do and stopped seeing me but when my Infectious disease doctor talked to her of course she could give that opinion so I was not treated with any antibiotics and I got sicker and sicker.  it has been brutal.
